LuckPenny | Who We Are | Get in Touch With Us | Music Lessons with Tim Crosby | It's a Web, after all

Brad Johnson -- tenor/baritone, guitar, concertina, whistle.  For over twenty years, Brad has been well-known in the Irish music scene in the Pacific Northwest. He is also an accomplished dancer and occasionally calls a dance or two. In his spare time, Brad is a building contractor.

Cindy Crosby -- alto, keyboards, string bass. Cindy grew up playing piano in a small country church. She took up the bass and became a founding member of Cripple Creek bluegrass band in southern Oregon. These days, in addition to LuckPenny, she is one third of the band Briarose.

Tim Crosby  -- bass/baritone, mandolins, fiddle, banjo. In his early years, Tim took up the mandolin, small and easy to carry. Then he married a woman who plays bass and piano (see above). Guess who carries the mandolin now. Tim teaches mandolin, fiddle, banjo, and guitar at Uptown Music in Keizer, Oregon. He also plays mandolin and fiddle for Kathy Boyd and Phoenix Rising, a regional bluegrass band.

Each musician brings a depth of wide-ranging influences to the band, yet their voices and their styles seem particularly well-suited for one another….
